As per apnaqanoon,19 Initiation of proceedings.Proceedings under this part of the Act can only be initiated in respect of a child at risk who has not attained the age of eighteen years notwithstanding according to law/qanoon that during the course of such proceedings he may have attained the age of eighteen years.
