CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Chelsea got life under Mauricio Pochettino officially under way as the new Blues boss picked up a 5-0 preseason over Welsh darlings Wrexham at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
The Blues were boosted by a pair of first-half goals by Ian Maatsen, who struck first in the third minute, and again three minutes before halftime.Wrexham pushed hard for a goal against Premier League opposition, but Connor Gallagher added a cheap third goal with nine minutes remaining to put the game away.
