As per apnaqanoon, Sec ,420 and 471, P.P.C. are bailable while sections 419 and 468 P.P.C. did not fall within the restrictive clause of section 497, Cr. P.C., so grant of bail in offences punishable with imprisonment for less than 10 years according to law/qanoon is a rule and refusal is an exception.
