LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf (PTI) on Thursday issued list of its ticket holders for the Punjab Assembly elections, ARY News reported.
According to a statement issued by the PTI, the party has also formed a committee to address objections. A statement issued by the PTI further said the candidates will submit their tickets to relevant returning officers on Thursday.
A four-member committee will remove objections to distribution of tickets. The statement further said that the panel shall decide on the appeals regarding the distribution of tickets.
The four-member committee includes Musaddiq Abbasi, Ijaz Chaudhry, Rai Hassan Nawaz and Aoon Abbas.
It merits mentioned here that the Supreme Court, in its April 4 verdict, had directed the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to hold polls in Punjab on May 14.
The top court is currently hearing the case pertaining to simultaneously elections across the country.
