As per apnaqanoon,Article 71 of Qanoon-e-Shahadat
provides that oral evidence must, in all cases be direct. if a fact which could be seen it must be the evidence of a witness who says he saw it. and If required to a fact which could be heard it must be the evidence of a witness says he heard it according art 71 of Qanoon-e-shahadat.
